We had a great stay at a hostel in a prime location, close to everything in the centre of town. the hostel was conveniently located near bus links back to the ferry, making our travels easy. the room was basic but comfortable, providing us with everything we needed for a short stay. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with great service throughout our visit. the breakfast voucher was a nice bonus, allowing us to enjoy a delicious meal at a discounted price.
The noise level from the pub downstairs could be disruptive at times.

great staff! i like the idea of breakfast nextdoor at the cafe - huge muffins. Kitchen was a bit disappointing, quite the messy fridge, shortage of mugs. Fantastic beds - very comfy - probably the comfiest beds i have ever slept in a hostel in. Great value for the money.
the location is a bit undesirable - but that may be the case only for me (mature traveller).

Good location, fun place. I like the pub downstairs. The bed is pretty comfortable, toilets are clean. Wifi internet works pretty well.
Staff in receiptions are not friendly and helpful. They are genuinely annoyed and lack of knowledge of everything.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Had a great time at the Cambie. The location is just perfect... Right in front of Water Street and the Steam Clock! Everything in Vancouver is in walking distance. Thumbs up for the Cambie - wohooo!!!

Location was convenient (but shady) and the atmosphere was nice. Reception staff was very friendly. Price was ok.
The room was quite dirty, I found beer bottle caps on the floor. The quality of the furniture was terrible, to be honest, I have backpacked a lot, but I even took pictures of how bad the room actually loooked like. The room was not soundproof at all, noises from the corridor all night long. I stayed there for 10 days but not even once was even my trash can emptied. The shared bathrooms were ok but toilets were really really gross several times. Checking them once a day by the staff is seriously not enough guys! Ah, and the breakfast that is advertised in the description as included is actually just tea/coffe + muffin. Come on!

Beds comfortable, easy check-in/out, convenient location, friendly staff, great bar/food and nightlife nearby, spacious double dorms.
Nothing, all great.

I liked doing my laundry, using the Internet in Tv room.
I could not find the exit. The refrigerator was full. The restaurant was kind of trashed, not cleaned. The bakery next door was good when I had breakfast.

price: 27 a night. its not bad. staff: friendly location: very near to waterfront station so i can get back to airport or essentially anywhere in Vancouver easily. i also lived in a room that is considerable quite.
biggest complain is the washing room. very watery on floor usually. There is also no places to put on your changing clothes etc..

The location of the hotel is fantastic, as it is close to downtown and the waterfront, making it easy to explore the city. It is also easily accessible from the airport.
The noise from the bar attached to the hostel can make it difficult to sleep at night.

The value for money was excellent, with a reasonable price and a typical hostel vibe. The location in the heart of Gastown was perfect, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast items could be improved with more variety and options.

The breakfast at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, a great way to start the day. the staff was also really helpful and friendly, they offered to store our bags after check-out so we could explore the city without any hassle. And the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around and see all the sights.
The bathrooms were a bit lacking in privacy and cleanliness. There weren't enough facilities for the number of people staying in the hostel, resulting in long lines and crowded spaces.

I recently stayed at Cambie Hostel Gastown for a few days while exploring the city. The location in Gastown was fantastic, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The staff at the hostel and pub were incredibly helpful and made me feel welcome. The bar had delicious food and was a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Plus, the price was very affordable for the great location and amenities. a great experience.
Would recommend this hotel.
